It's a bit sad that an 'Aussie' like Russell could be so wrong in his calculations let alone his monetary policy.

Sounds like pre WWII Germany. People bringing wheelbarrows of reichmark notes to buy a loaf of bread.

Everyone was a millionaire then, shame bread was costing a few million reichmarks.

Bit like Pauline Hanson's monetary policy some 10 years ago "we'll just print more money!"


I'm guessing they cheered him on the show? :D


still tho, he was pretty sweet in Gladiator.
