After 5 weeks of living out of a suit case my holiday is over. I'm going from endless post card views of Italy to endless days staring at a couple of trading screens. From the outlook of Lake Como to apparently the end of the financial world and a credit implosion. Again!

So Arrivederci I have work to do and after hardly looking at even the end of day market scores for 5 weeks I'm excited about getting back into the market. Its sad to leave such settings but its trading that enables me the money and more importantly time to travel and not worry about work or a business going bad. Is there any other life that can afford such freedom? I'm pretty sure there is not. Before I was a trader I had a couple of Hospitality business. Some of them were murder. I made some money but it would not be unusual to go a month without a day off! And 5 weeks off. Never.
So as I sit back down in front of my screens writing out the to do list to get me back into sync with the market I am felling a bit lost. But I have to tell you I am just as excited about getting back to trading as I was about going on the holiday. Trading doesn't feel like work. It feels like play. If I didn't make money from it I would still do it for fun. I think that makes me pretty lucky to have such a "job". Which is strangely exactly what makes it possible. After the realization that its not an easy path to riches but a life of hard relentless work, after 7 years of staring at charts and DOM screens, long after it has chewed up and spate out the get rich quick crowd, after seemingly endless months of frustration and perseverance now I have what they (Get Rich Cowboys) where looking for.
The best freedom and lifestyle there is.
Thanks for the comments and emails while I was away. I may be changing the Blog format a little over the next couple of weeks and will not be up to speed for a while but there will be more regular post from here on.
